BELLEVILLE, Ont. (05/03/2014) — Canada Post letter carrier Marilyn Black, 46, walks her route Wednesday, March 5, 2014 in Belleville, Ont. She has been delivering mails for 26 years which started off as a summer job. She walks around 15 kilometres each day. With the recent reform proposed by the Canada Post to stop door-to-door mail delivery and replace by community mailboxes, around half of the 31 letter carriers in Belleville would be out of a job. Black said she isn’t sure what’s going to happen to her job. She said mail volume has not been decreasing through the time she has been working for Canada Post so she isn’t sure the reasoning behind the proposed reform. Photo by Justin Chin
